Colourful foods make your life healthier. I’m currently working on my Clashing fruits project to spread the idea that eating more fruits and vegetables are one of the most important -and easy- diet changes you can do.
NHS recommends to eat 5 pieces of fruits and vegetables a day – you can get more information on the NHS 5 A DAY website – because they are a good source of vitamins and minerals, and an excellent source of dietary fibre as well. They contribute to reduce the risk of heart desease, stroke,some types of cancer, macular degeneration of the retina, Alzheimer, infections, osteoporosis and many more.
And they are delicious!!
Eat two or three fruits a day, and two or three portions of vegs and your life will be much healthier!
